The first day of this through Morocco will be used to arrive in Fes and get acquainted with the city and the coutry. Our English-speaking driver will pick you up at the city's kaiport to transfer you to your beautiful accommodation. From then until the time of your night's rest, you will enjoy as much free time as your flight arrival time allows.

Explore Fes, the most ancient and holy of the Imperial cities.  Your cultural and historic tour will take you through the 2000 year old living medina, with its never-ending labyrinth of narrow lanes which are alive with markets and souks, craftsmen plying ancient trades, and donkeys and mules transporting their loads.  Visit the Attarine and Bou Anania Medersas (Islamic universities), the Nejjarine fountain, the Moulay Idriss Mausoleum, and the Karaouine Mosque.  Finish your tour with a visit to Fes Jdid, and the revered Merenid Tombs for a spectacular panoramic view of Fes.

Depart Fes for Khenifra, the heart of the Middle Atlas.  On your way take some time to explore Ifrane, the Switzerland of Morocco; Azrou, an important centre for Berber artisans; and the majestic cedar forests.  Khenifra is rich in Berber history, with vivid handmade rugs and carpets a speciality of this city.

Depart Khenifra for the small village of Imilchil, crossing the Middle Atlas into the High Atlas mountains.  This journey passes through many small Berber villages, giving you an unique look into the daily lives of the people in this region.  Imilchil is perhaps most famous for its annual betrothal festival in September.  Explore Imilchil, visit the lake and nearby villages in the valley, or sit back and absorb the daily life of village locals

At 9:30 am your adventure with Morocco In Tours continues as we leave the mythical town of Imlichil, crossing the High Atlas Mountains to the beautiful Dades Valley. Along the day we will drive by several Berber towns then we will drive by one of the windiest roads in Morocco, called the Tissadrin Pass. Then we drive along the beautiful green Dades Valley with its majestic sandcastles standing in the middle of the valley to stop by the strange rock formation locally known as the monkey toes. Continue our drive to reach the town of Dades. Upon arrival to the Hotel in early afternoon, you will have time to relax and use the swimming pool or treat yourself with a massage. Today we start the day with a delicious traditional breakfast to fuel our travels. The spectacular Tinghir Valley, a green refuge surrounded by massive pink and grey granite cliffs reaching up to 300m in height, is our next stop. But this is only the beginning of our adventure! Our next visit is the famed Erg Chebbi dunes near Merzouga, located in the heart of the Sahara Desert. Before we go, we’ll stop in Tinjdad for a fantastic lunch to fuel our journey. Before reaching the towering Erg Chebbi dunes see the sunset in a shower of colors, all in superb style. Imagine yourself immersed in the desert’s allure.

Enjoy the allure of dawn above Erg Chebbi’s mesmerizing dunes, and let your spirit be charmed by the Merzouga desert’s pure, unadulterated beauty. The moment the sun rises over the horizon will be an unforgettable event full of amazement and wonder.
